About Stephen
I first began taking pictures in Glasgow, Scotland, when my uncle gave
me a small 35mm camera for my 11th birthday. I moved to Canada in 1988,
and established my photography business in Ottawa, Ontario in 1992.
In 2001 I relocated to Sonoma county, California.
I specialize in color and black-and-white landscape and nature
photography. I have traveled extensively, capturing images from
locations in the United Kingdom, Central America, Europe, and North America.
I use both traditional darkroom techniques and digital technology to
create my collection of original images.
My photographs are currently displayed at Fitch Mountain Lookout and the Healdsburg Bungalow in
Healdsburg, California. They are also displayed in other homes and businesses in Scotland,
Canada, the United States, and elsewhere. One of my images resides in the Canadian National archives.
