Three families came to enjoy the area and participate in the Vineman-Ironman on Saturday and the San Francisco marathon on Sunday. The house is GREAT! Hot tub was excellent for post-race relaxation. This area is beautiful and we really enjoyed the wine country. Bodega bay is breath-taking and we highly recommend a mud bath and massage at Grand Haven in Calistoga. Thanks for such a a wondefrful vacation spot!

We have had the best couple days up here at the FML and in Healdsburg! Sitting by the fire with wine and soaking in the hot tub with wine...oh yeah. The main town is adorable with great shops and restaurants. Healdsburg Grill and Bar and Willis Seafood were just two of the places we went to. We actually drove about fifteen minutes away to Lancaster Estates for a wine tour and tasting. Thank you for sharing your hoouse with us. We couldn't have asked for a better 2nd anniversay.

Simply can't imagine a better vacation. Healdsburg is the cutest town-just take sometime to wander around downtown and check out all the gorgeous houses (with orange trees!). Farmers market on Saturday ws great. We were also able to go to Seghesio for our first wine tasting-probably our favorite one of the trip. Also, all the vineyards on the Taste Alexander Valley event were gorgeous! Two of the best meals of our lives: Scopa and Willi's Seafood. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We travelled from the UK to celebrate Chris's sons birthday. We had a laugh from the minute we met in London and are still laughing now. The home really met all our needs. We travelled into the wine country with ease. We've enjoyed the Napa Valley, especially meeting our good friends there, one of which travelled from China to celebrate with us. We've had great days in Healdsburg and in the very friendly Sonoma Valley. Great base for a great holiday. A great week that started off with the heat wave. Luckily it was comfortable on the deck under the lights. Fun to BBQ at the end of a day of wine tasting. The house here is very comfortable and the kitchen is easy to work with. Renting a house is really the best way to enjoy the area. We will be back.

Fitch mountain lookout was an endearing and beautiful base for our ten-day exploration of Sonoma Country. With our two teenage boys we explored many hundred miles of extraordinary cycling: from high mountains (pont! pont!) to fragnant Redwood groves and bold ocean vistas. Your lovely home provided many comforts to our tired bodies after hours on the bike - from a cool swim in the river to a hot tub overlooking the River Valley. Finished off our evenings with clear reception of the Olympics in Bejing and noodling on our computers with convenient wi-fi access. As hobby photographers we also especially appreciated Steven's stunning photographic artwork on display throughout the house. Warmly + with fond memories of our time here -

We had a wonderful stay. Our brother/son got married yesterday. The weather wasn't great but it didn't stop the celebration. We walked down a few times to the river and the water was beautiful. We did a lot of wine touring. It was great. We hiked through the Armstrong forest-get your hiking boots, water bottles and I hope you've been working out! It was nothing extreme. Wonderful time we had in and around Healdsburg! I really enjoyed the unique experience of the Fitch Mountain Lookout, including the view of the hill across the river; different times of day, different light and different atmosphere made it a ever-changing work of art. And the birds! Thank you for the wine, your attention to detail and you thoughtfulness throughout.
